Maracis Solutions Ltd (MSL) was formed in 1998 by a group of people who had worked within the UK National Health Service (in both software development and clinical positions), and in the commercial sector.

The background of MSL's founders give the company a unique 'insiders' perspective on the National Health Service, and on the needs of the people who work in it, especially its clinicians.

Following its formation the company’s customer base in the UK health service has continued to expand giving the company access to a wide, and representative, perspective on the needs of health and social care practitioners. In the last 2 years the growth in customer numbers has accelerated as the company has entered new but complementary markets.

Within the UK over 40 organisations and 30,000 customer staff now use MARACIS products. Installations range from full corporate installations with hundreds of users through to small workgroups and teams. The products are used by public and private sector providers.

As a small-medium sized enterprise MSL is able to respond quickly to market changes and customer requirements. Our overheads are lower than larger companies making it possible for us to price our products and services well below those of larger companies without compromising on quality and scope. Being a small company also means no big company bureaucracy, inertia and politics.

Having said that were potential customers require it we are willing and able to work via prime contractors, and are also able to provide financial guarantees.
